Până în 2023, județul Cluj ar putea deveni primul județ din România care va avea întreaga populație racordată la rețelele de canalizare și apă potabilă. 85% din costul proiectelor ar urma să fie susținut din fonduri europene.
Compania de Apă “Someş” Cluj a înregistrat în acest an pierderi de 260.000 de lei în urma branşamentelor ilegale la reţeaua de apă şi canalizare ale unor locuitori din 43 de localităţi ale judeţului, care sunt daţi în judecată.
Monitorul de Cluj a publicat un articol în care clujenii se plângeau de gustul diferit pe care îl are apa din oraș de la un cartier la altul sau chiar de la un cartier la altul. Reprezentanții Companiei de Apă Someș au venit cu explicația!
Clujenii spun că apa de la robinet în unele locuri este foarte bună și preferă să o consume în loc să dea bani pe apă îmbuteliată, în schimb ce alții sunt nevoiți să își care canistre întregi de apă acasă de la magazin.
Societățile și regiile din subordinea Consiliului Județean Cluj nu fac, cumulat, profitul Aeroportului Internațional Cluj. Consiliul Județean se încăpățânează să pompeze bani în proiecte falimentare.
Din 1995 până în prezent consumul de apă potabilă s-a redus foarte mult din cauza crizei economice, dar și din cauza modernizării sistemului de contorizare a apei.
Ceea ce trebuia să fie o simplă lucrare de branșare a localității Nima la magistrala de apă, s-a transformat într-o adevărată criză a apei pentru zeci de mii de oameni.
